Meet Kaleb Condez
Owner & Founder of Train Your Mind Tutoring
ABOUT KALEB
Kaleb is the founder and owner of Train Your Mind Tutoring. Kaleb is a sophomore (Class of 2028) at Saint Joseph Notre Dame High School and graduate (Class of 2024) of Saint Philip Neri School. Kaleb has an extensive experience with tutoring and providing academic assistance to younger students. At St. Philip Neri, Kaleb created the Peer Tutoring Program, where middle school students helped elementary school students with their homework on a weekly basis after school.
Kaleb is motivated to help the community through entrepreneurship and service. In recognition of our launch, Train Your Mind Tutoring was featured on the Castro Valley Forum newspaper. Outside of tutoring, Kaleb enjoys playing volleyball, spending time with friends and family, traveling, and trying new restaurants.
KALEB'S TUTORING PHILOSOPHY
Kaleb understands that every student has unique academic needs and learns in their own way. That said, his approach is built around patience, encouragement, and rewarding progress & growth. He takes the time to get to know each students' personal interests and areas for improvement, building session curriculum using this information. For example, a student who loves basketball would receive practice problems and reading passages that involve their passion for the sport and their favorite team. In doing so, the student is engaged in their learning and builds academic confidence & motivation. At the end of each session, Kaleb rewards his students with a small prize to congratulate and recognize them for their hard work, progress, and growth.
